I'm trying to set seti up on my freebsd box, but having a few problems. I've installed it from the ports tree, gone to run it, and get this:

2004-12-13 13:53:45 [SETI@home] Message from server: platform 'i386-portbld-freebsd5.2' not found

Is there away to get round this or something?

You should install a port named boinc_setiathome or similar.
then start boinc client.
