OMG! So sorry to hear! So sad... Please pass my condolences, Chris, as I don't want to bother John right now. She looked like a really nice lady. You will be in my prayers, John!

Message 1426641 - Posted: 10 Oct 2013, 16:13:48 UTC - in response to Message 1426626.

Given the arrangements that need to be made with the family on these sad occasions, I'm not expecting to hear anything more for a few days yet. But I have today on your behalf, printed out all your kind messages and sent them to him via post.

Thanks Chris....

It is just before I am shutting down I do a quick browse to look and wonder.

Many thanks for the many good wishes you have kindly posted here.

I can say things have not really hit home yet, and I have the responsibility of 5 little furry lives to look after still.

However my 3 grown children (2 boys and a girl), now in their 40s, took the remainder of the week off from their jobs in various cities, gathered here and kept me occupied so my feet hardly touch the floor. My brother is joining us around lunchtime tomorrow for a week.

I still feel good, but have a gap, and see Sheila sitting by me when I drive the car. I have not yet seen/become aware of her to say she is around and OK. There is a bit of a family tradition in this regard.

We, the family, need to speak with the Coroner and Funeral Director tomorrow to find out the reason for sudden departure, and when we can start planning things.

Thanks again

John

Going back to work, I have just now gotten to this thread. Please let me add my Condolences and good wishes, Sir John, to you and your family. It is good to know you are surrounded by loving family, both 2-footed and 4-. Draw strength from each other, as God's healing Grace flows over and through all of you. Cherish the good memories, for through them, Sheila lives on in your hearts.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Be strong and confident that your beloved is just where she needed to be. I don't know your faith for beliefs but I know you will still be connected with her. embrace the memories and allow yourself to feel the sorrow and accept the love you are offered.
