This movie should bee seen in 3-D. I caught a late night showing on Thursday.

This movie is absolutely stunning from the get go. I can't remember ever being pulled into a film so completely and thoroughly, and I don't think I've seen a more beautiful film.

Sandra Bullock and George Clooney seem to float effortlessly in "Gravity," a terror-filled tale of two shuttle astronauts set adrift by a space disaster.

Looks like a good film, made me feel a bit queasy though. And that was just the trailer :)

Celt Tooth, not everything is just special effects. It changed my thought on space.

Aging hipsters that listen to Korn in space? I think we went there with "Space Cowboys". No thanks! :)

The best single 3D event I ever saw in the theater was the re-release of Avatar.
It was doubly special for me, because I had just had my cataract surgery and could see out of both my eyes for the first time in several years.
But the movie itself had much to do with it as well.

I wonder if I would get the same thrill again out of 'Gravity'.

Yeah, but you liked "Snakes on a Plane" and "2012", too. So, I'll look to you for other advice, but not movie advice. :) BTW, congrats.

I think you are mixing me up with someone else. I thought Snakes on a Plane was funny, but 2012 was pretty awful, although the special effects were good.

BTW, congrats.

Thank you.

Lordy, lordy......
Don't be sorry about the surgery! You might be sorry about the cataracts that took my sight from my right eye for several years, but not about the surgery that enables me to see to this very day....LOL. It's one of God's little medical miracles he clued mankind into, and I am forever thankful for it. I see everything now through a couple of little plastic bits implanted in both eyes. It astounds me at times to this day. I paid the $8000.00 bill off this summer.

But, I know what you meant....thanks.

I shall ask Lori if she is interested. She loved Avatar too...I think we are due to watch it again on Bluray at home soon. Not 3D though.

Thanks for the good review of the movie. I'll report back if we get a chance to see it sometime soon.

Meowmeowmeow.

LSM is going to let me upgrade the
media machine to 3D for my un-birthday.
The first movie I'll get is the 3D
version of Avatar.
I agree with you Mark cataract surgery
is a very good thing.
