Every prediction published about global melting includes some form of climate disaster. The global climate can only get worse because of industrialization. Therefore we must conclude that in the pre-industrial world, roughly 1850, the Earth had the best of all possible climates.

At one time it was possible to walk on dry land from South Africa almost to Australia needing only a crude raft to get the rest of the way so Australia. Then came a huge climate disaster leaving people stranded on mountain tops in the Pacific.
