Christmas is coming and upon checking my list I see I've been especially nice this year. Any thoughts on how well the newly announced Kindle Fire HDX would be suited to running S@H, if it can run it at all? http://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Fire-HDX-Display-Wi-Fi/dp/B00BYHRY3O/ref=sr_1_2?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1380087359&sr=1-2&keywords=fire+hdx#kindle-compare I know zip about Android and/or tablets. If the Kindle is a no go, what would be good alternatives for a tablet in the $600.00USD that would be usable for S@H plus e-reader, movies, music, etc. I'm not interested in Facebook, Twitter, or any other 'social' apps. |

Christmas is coming and upon checking my list I see I have been able to run beta on my kindle and Amazon does have BOINC on their app list. That said, I was having problems getting work allocated to my machine for some strange reason. |

Christmas is coming and upon checking my list I see I looked at your link earlier, it does have an Arm 2.2GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, as well as a forked Android OS, so it should should run Boinc no problem, how it runs Setiathome Arm apps is still open to question, app development is still on going, at present I have great problems on my Snapdragon S4 equipped HTC One S. My Kindle Fire HD 7 inch is running it pretty well now. Had a couple of problems at first though. Claggy is running his on both cores I'm only using one of my cores. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

My Nexus 7 has four cores, it is running on three of them, the HTC One S has two cores, it is only running on one of them, neither is running on both cores! Claggy |

Thanks all. It looks like S@H will be doable. |
