Does anyone know where bonic keeps the image which it uses for its icon [the (B)]? I want to change the icon's image to something else.

(I believe you could draw, replace, etc. of an item's icon, or at least that's what I did in windows 98. I currently have win-XP)

The icons used are build inside the boinc_gui.exe software itself.

If you want to change the icons, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, you could use for example Resbuild, or also called resEdit (freeware) that you can download here.

Maybe you will need also Microsoft.NET Framework. I do not know if you really will need it as I had .NET Framework already installed before using resEdit.

If you want to give it a trial, please make a backup of boinc_gui.exe before making any change to it.

Good luck.
