OK, if you have been around the forums a while, you know how this works.
If not.....here's how it goes.

I auction my kitty farm crunching services to the team with the best bid.

All funds go directly into the Seti collective, nothing to me.
You need to understand this. I DO NOT benefit from this auction.

The only transfer is from my daily creds from my current team to the highest bidder. I have been very proud to be a member of the GPUUG for a long time now, and I guess I should give the rest of you a chance to bid on being a kitty.

Bidding starts right now, all bids will be confirmed as valid, and I give you one week to sort it out.

Make this straight.......all fund go to the Seti general fund. Nothing to me.

Nothing. I do this only to generate funds for THE project.

Teams..........get your finances in order. The last kitty auction was a LONG while ago.

This opportunity shall not come by again anytime soon.......

Verified bids now being accepted.

And I should have stated, bidding ends a week from now, at this time.

Which is 20:22 UTC....
Meow.

Now is the time, friends.

A chance at kitty fame for your team.

Your tin of kibble awaits you, for a price.

Meow, nibble.

Don't be shy now, fanciers of kitties.
This might be your only chance in this Seti lifetime to own a piece of the kitten party.

Bid now.

I just created a team called "Raccoon Lovers".

I bid $100 to get the kitties to crunch for my team.

Ahh...
Now we are getting a bit more serious with the bids, eh?
Thank you, Angela.

Thanks. It's been a while since I did this. The last time, bidding got a bit spirited as the deadline got closer. Some significant funds were directed to the Seti coffers.

How long is the duration that you crunch for the winner?

If I were to win, I'd like to keep you on GPUUG of course, but crunching for me (ie attaching your crunchers to my account with my weak account key.) Just had a cruncher die badly so that would take the edge off. :^)

Thanks!

$200 toward the GPUUG to retain, from the secret council of control theory and credit harmony (SCOTCH)

Sorry about the cruncher....
I had one go down early this morning myself. The PSU shorted out and kicked out the 15a circuit breaker. Fortunately I had a spare PSU and the dead one didn't take out anything else when it failed.

I stay with the winning team for a minimum of one year.

Thank you for another generous bid!
That puts the GPUUG at $400.00, and currently in the lead.

Incredible stuff mark. From when I began reading this thread from the top, I had no idea that by the bottom of the thread you would have a bid of $400. That is amazing.

Great stuff to everyone involved.
