Message 1425760 - Posted: 8 Oct 2013, 15:01:16 UTC - in response to Message 1425706.

OK, of course, as for you,

Better close those 3 windows first Vic!

According to the foggers maker the bug bomb is supposed to only work in 300sqft or 3000cuft and I know all the dimensions in the rooms that are in question, except for the Kitchen and Front Room, the rest of the mobile home has 7.5' high ceilings, the other 2 areas have a vaulted ceiling in common.

I caulked in the closet in 3 spots I'd not noticed and I did an examination of anywhere that I hadn't caulked and I only found 2 out in the bedroom, caulked those 2 spots, this mobile home has wood strips covering the joints in the drywall(though in some spots the strips are missing), I found a moth near 2 out of 5 of those, now after these thorough inspection(like an exterminator), just to calm down poor Grace, I have gotten the last visible crack in the walls in the bedroom and the walk in closet(6'9"x6'x7'6") closed, plus I'm almost out of caulk(that's what the stuff is labeled as here), this HDX caulk can't be used in a bathroom, the park uses silicon rubber since it remains flexible as it cures. the moths did Me a favor really, the bedroom and closets had a lot of air gaps in the drywall, now those are all closed tight.

Oh and the 3 windows are out in the Kitchen and the Front Room, My bedroom has only 1 window and that window is closed already, the area that I want to use the bug bomb at is 252.39sqft in size, if the walls are included that would be closer to 300sqft in area, so after closing the door to the bedroom that I can see from the Kitchen, that should be it, I could tape up the door with 2" wide masking tape that I have, after two hours I'd need to open the window in the bedroom and turn on the cooler to high vent to blow out any fog, right now I need to replace a belt, otherwise the swamp cooler is out of service until repaired. Oh and I'd have open the bathroom door and the 2 closet doors so that the fog could go there from the bedroom. But I'll see in a few days what happens, I've read that mobile homes aren't as well built as stick built homes that don't after being built roll down the road once or in this case maybe as many as 3 times in 26 years. Fleetwood used a lot of staples to put the drywall up with and nails on the outside to hold the exterior wood panels in place, the exterior panels are in various states of repair, the North and South sides are good(needs only paint) and the East needs some screws, the West side needs the most screws since that side faces the side where the wind usually blows from the most, I've lived here for about 9 years, so I should know about the weather patterns when it comes to the wind at least. This mobile home is supposed to be 14' wide, from measurements I've taken it's looking like 13.5' at most, close I guess.

I was an unarmed licensed security guard for 10 years, sometimes reports could be very detailed, that also made Me examine things and pay attention to details, but I think I'm about done in the bedroom and the closets, I still have a bathroom, the kitchen and front room to do, but not today, I just found out that someone ordered a 56" v-belt for the swamp cooler from the HomeDepot, the store should have it there by Wednesday, since the store is out of stock on this... so at least the cooler will work again soon.

The motor died and then restarted, the motor must have overheated, well it will need replacement soon, told the park about that too, so Dull/Birthy/Corny are you going to make another stupid comment??

Ok in December or maybe November if I have enough money, I'm buying a 2oz can of bug bomb(Pyrethrum Total Release Fogger, 2 Oz) off of amazon, I'll have to take My bedding off of the bed and get a water proof mattress pad, I don't have a pad now. Plus move Graces litter box out of the bedroom for 2 hours, that's what one website Here said to do on the time. The 2oz can should be enough to treat My bedroom, both closets and the bathroom and get in any and all remaining cracks that I can't get to and/or see.

Vic, Did you read the warning for this can? he is the cut and paste from your own website. The first paragraph is important.

This product WILL leave a residual that will continue to kill for up to 8 weeks. This product should not be used in common living areas and near kitchens or food handling areas. It is meant for storage spaces and non-common areas such as storage facilities, attics, crawl spaces, garages, etc. You should use CB PCO Fogger for use in common living areas since it does not leave a long term residual.

Pro-Control Plus Total Release is an aerosol fogger, ideal for space treatments in facilities where food handling is not a concern. It is convenient, easy-to-use and effective against a wide variety of pests. Once the can is pressed, it totally releases all active ingredient as a fog. You should not stay in the room while it is releasing unless you have access to a high quality chemical face mask. You should not return for two hours after the can is pressed to allow time for the fog to settle. 6 oz. can.
- See more at: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/pro-control-plus-total-release-oz-p-194.html#sthash.WjqdkwFq.dpuf

I also take it that you are just going to stay in another room after you start the spray. Wrong move. When you use any thing like that you need to get out of the house. Im sure you can find something to do for two hours outside while this bomb is killing moths.

Before you posted this I'd already had thoughts about not doing this as, events seem to be going away from that, so I won't be buying any bug bomb.

Glad to hear that Vic. When I bomb the House, fleas here, I make sure all Animals and Humans are outside.
Since all my Animals are indoor/outdoor just something I have to put up with.
Two hours for the bomb, at least four hours to clear the Air.
Pluto will always be a planet to me.

Eric bombs our garage from time to time, because his cluttering habits create fabulous black widow spider habitat. Eric also bombs my potting shed for the same reason. Sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures.

A Nuke is insignificant to an Asteroid dropped on Earth from beyond Earth orbit.

This crater happened about 50,000 years ago, Cavemen knew what the ultimate weapon was...

That doesn't cause an EMP, though.
