That computer has 99 'error' tasks.
Maybe the server got smarter ...

You are being restricted by the servers because of all the errors that you have generated.

Cheers.

When your host errored all it's Seti v7 GPU Wu's with:

-185 (0xffffffffffffff47) ERR_RESULT_START

CreateProcess() failed - Not enough storage is available to process this command. (0x8)

Error SETI@home v7 tasks for computer 4695891

Check your preferences allow enough hardrive space.

Ah, didn't notice any errors, Boinc was cycling through the "connect to host" sequence and I had to reboot...

According to the Boinc FAQ service, for error -185:

ERR_RESULT_START -185

This is an error that will occur:
- if BOINC couldn't start the application
- if files are missing
- upon catch of other error returns
- on nonzero exit or signal
- if exceeded resource limit
- as catch-all for resume/start errors

Rebooting your machine will most of the times fix these.

You could revert to running the Stock apps for a while, different apps, different quotas, once some of your ~300 odd pending validate then move back to Anonymous platform.

Application details for host 4695891

Just rename your app_info.xml to app_info1.xml and restart Boinc, your existing CPU tasks will be lost, but will be resent, any VLAR tasks won't be resent to the GPU,
so you can either manage your requests to do CPU requests only (by only having 'Use CPU' selected in your project preferences) until they are resent, or take pot luck.

Or you could rerun the Lunatics Installer, and install the Nvidia OpenCL AP app and run that until your Seti v7 Nvidia GPU quota recovers.

@ Claggy,

It has already changed to 23 units per day, and will reset in 10 hours. Cpu tasks take 7-8 hours and ap's on the cpu 48+. So unless my video card gacked [doubtful, since I'm looking at it] I should be back to 100 gpu tasks in 2-3 days and I won't lose the running cpu tasks, but thanks - `cause I would not have thought to do that.

Standard AP stuck state, one of the original two tasks wasn't reported by deadline so a third task was sent. Then if the original is reported before the third task and validates, reporting the third result seems to not trigger the needed validation to close out the WU. There are probably thousands of those by now, but it's not enough of a problem for the staff to treat as high priority. Relative to the millions of tasks churning through the system at all times, it's small potatoes.

Actually keep an eye on your 32-bit systems' memory usage, I found with mine that it was gradually running out of it since the intro of SETI V7 so I was forced to reboot it every 3-5 days (depending on what else I was doing) to free it up again.

Cheers.
