Hello, have here a gtx 670 and a gt 640. I am running several task on the gtx 670 but i want run only ONE task on the gt 640, is there a solution to edit the app_config.xml to run different numbers of tasks for each card ? Greetings |

You have to run to instances of the BOINC manager, one dedicated to each card. I'm sure someone will be along soon with the correct tags to put in each of the app_info files. I think you will find that the two instances have to be installed in separate data directories otherwise things could get very messy. I allways tried to avoid that, but is there anywhere a funcional tutorial to run/install two instances ? |

This first command line entry dont work, so i cant continue on the tutorial, any other tutorials out there ? ooops, it worked , false foldername :) ....the easyest way is to suspend all project.... thanks in that, but is there a quicker/easier solution ? Have 50+ wu on the run. |

If you are not needing anything better than the 640 for your graphics output then don't use it at all for crunching, but let it just supply your video output. If not then I'd really suggest you pull it out as the performance difference compared to the 670 could cause other problems. Cheers. |
