From the second link:
The award comes less than a year after Yorkshire won the right to host the start of the Tour de France in July next year, with the race's Grand Depart taking place in Leeds.

Erm, what?

Am i missing something here? What is the Tour de France doing in Leeds? I was never much cop at geography but even i can spot a discrepancy of 300 miles.

Good news only, eh? My keyboard and mouse (HID...lol) abilities are much quicker than what they were, a month ago, although the hands still lag quite a way behind the brain at times. I'm told that this will improve and that they (the quacks) have pretty good expectations for me. With luck, near normality is a distinct possibility....hopefully, before my anticipated early retirement, next year. My sincere thanks for all the kind thoughts sent to me.

My kindest wishes and hopes, Iona

This is probably more suited to one of the I.T threads but feel it appropriate here :)

This could be put in various ongoing threads but thought it best here. Anything that can help those with learning difficulties just has to be good :)

Star surprises busker singing his song

A Berlin busker who was performing Bronski Beat's Smalltown Boy couldn't believe his eyes when Jimmy Somerville wandered over and joined in.
