I switched off Astropulse some months ago but it is still running. I have checked the settings in my Seti@home account. This is with BOINC 7.0.64(x64) and Seti@home v7 7.00. Any advice? Euan |

Did you also uncheck the last option in preferences: "if no work available for selected project(s), send work from others"? If not, that could send you AP if no MB was available. |

I launch the task mgr several times a day & kill astropulse - if astropulse is running, my response time goes to its knees ! - I don't want astropulse - how do I permanently stop it from re-downloading ?? |

Project preferences (available from Your Account). -> Make sure you're in the correct venue, the same that your computer asks the preferences for. -> Edit the preferences (button at the bottom of the page). -> Uncheck AstroPulse v6. -> Uncheck If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications? -> Check SETI@home v7. Save changes with the Update preferences button at the bottom of the page. Next open BOINC Manager, Projects tab, select Seti@Home and click Update. [/url] |
