Hi everybody,

i have a problem on my new Windows 8 machine:
Sometimes when i stop BOINC and restart it later, some Seti-CPU-tasks (not all and every time) don't restart on their latest percent done (e. g. 75% done) but instead "loose" a lot of time and restart in an earlier state (e. g. 23% done) and crunch on from that point. In this case the elapsed time adds up correctly, only the percentage done is lost. This only happens to CPU tasks but not to GPU tasks.

Is there a BOINC issue, that the running tasks are "killed" to early and cannot completely write their state to the disk/SSD?

Any hints appreciated.
Aloha, Uli
