One of my PC went down hard and I probably be down for good. Question- there is still 200 tasks ready to be run on this computet, how can I abort these tasks.

It happens to everyone eventually. Happend to me twice, Had a hard drive die on my old P4 last year, And then right after that my Intel mac died.

If you can rescue the harddrive and get to the boinc data folder, you can transplant that into a new host.

BOINC is designed to handle such things by itself, there are probably hundreds machines daily that fail or simply never come back, because the user doesn't want to crunch anymore and doesn't care to abort and report the WUs back to the project.

So if a machine fails and you can't or don't want to fix it anymore, simply ignore those tasks, the servers will take care of them when they reach their deadline. No need to feel bad because of that, you're not letting down anybody. Hardware failures happen to everybody every now and than.
