I have what is referred to as a porcelain gall bladder. I've known about it since my car accident three years agp but up till now the doctors didn't seem too concerned. But recently I went to a new doctor who informed me that although right now the condition is not harmful a large proportion of people with this condition end up with gall bladder cancer. So he recommended that it be removed. Same day surgery unless there are complications so I should be home tomorrow evening. I'll let you know how things went as soon as I feel like sitting at the computer. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. I feel you pain, and wish you all the best, and a speedy recovery, with no cancer. I will say a prayer for you. Lynn |

Good op. and recovery, Bob. My 34-yr-old daughter had her's out, last year. She's fine, certainly, and glad she had it done. |

Next time we meet, you definitely have bring some of those along . Unfortunately, they are only a UK item... They'd have to be imported to the U.S. There was a British Goods store back East somewhere that I found on the internet that gets them occasionally; but, I haven't kept up with them; so, I don't know if they still sell them here. Everything went as planned. I woke up at 11:30AM more or less and my brother drove me home about an hour later. I spent the rest of the day in bed. It hurts the most just below my sternum like someone kicked me in the chest. I now have one less part of my body to go wrong. I just got up to eat some breakfast, take a pain pill and go back to bed.
