The bats don't live here, just nearby in old mines or small caves... The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

If I tried to sing like that I would rip my throat out in five minutes. I like that! |

Near sunset We have something I think Angela might not have, BATS... We have bats in our area. The only bat I've ever seen, however, has been a sick bat. I gave it a wide berth. |

Near sunset We have something I think Angela might not have, BATS... For the past several years, there have been two or three bats that come out at dusk and play aerial tag over my back yard and pool. Guess they eat well, haven't had much problem with mosquitos and gnats lately.... Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Near sunset We have something I think Angela might not have, BATS... There were some small brown bats in an old abandoned copper mine near here, where there's a Geocache hidden about halfway into the mine (it goes in about 300' & is still safe to enter). |

There's some near where I live, I see them at dusk/after dark when on my way to the kebab shop/chippy :) Always high up in the trees fluttering about, I have wondered where they actually live. Member of the People Encouraging Niceness In Society club. |

Just thought the raccoons were upgrading their technology to echolocation and 3D sound soon. It works as this one keeps winning meals ... It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

All our cotton-grading machines run on Dell P4s with WinXP. We've had them since 2005, and they are SUPPOSED to be replaced next year (they've said for the past 2 years).... My HPLC machine runs a Packard-Bell Pentium II, with Windows 98, and we have no plans to upgrade it any time soon since it still works perfectly.
