Here are some cute little ruby-throated hummingbirds for those of you who are frightened by tiny, harmless insects and spiders. I took these pix earlier today. There have been more hummers at my feeders today and yesterday than I've ever seen. Well, except several years ago it snowed on April 9th here in central Texas and, when I came home for lunch, there were dozens of hummers trying to drink from my one feeder. I spent my lunchtime putting up more feeders. (I hope this pic isn't too big.) (oops. It is.) (Uh oh. I forgot about the spider on the bottom of the feeder.) ~Sue~ |

Sue, even though that is a pretty picture that I can resize temporarily, the max size for an image/picture here on the S@H forum is I think 1024x768. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Vic we can resize it. I have no problem with big pics. You have posted a few in the past. @ Suzie, keep them coming. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

No he is right, warnings have been given in the past over file size. I was told it was because some folks still have dial ups. Perhaps I can put my sig' back up? |

Perhaps I can put my sig' back up? Do it! People (like me) who don't like the flood of graphics can turn off the display of all signatures. Gruß Gundolf |

Large images that stretch the thread are extremely annoying. Especially when using a Mac mighty mouse which has a track pad surface instead of a roller for scrolling. This means that any sideways movement of my finger on the mouse as I scroll up or down slides the information part of the thread off the screen. Streached threads like this one now really $#!^ me badly. |

Most people seems to size their screens to about 122x800, so larger pictures should be accommodated. It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

Lately when I put up pix' I always check it out on my server before I put it up here. (Remembering that lately for me is anything in the last year.) |

My screen is 1600x900, although when I post a pic, due to the way the browser is configured with the bookmarks taking up part of the left side of the screen, and with the website combined with the browser means that at most only a 1024 pixels wide pic can be totally visible on screen without extending off the screen on the right, so I try and stay at 1024x768 as the maximum, but that's a personal preference, otherwise I have scroll around or shrink the pics scale to where I can see the whole pic all at once with a Firefox extension, namely: Image Zoom 0.6.3 The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I hereby swear and/or affirm that I will never, ever again post a humongous photo/picture to this cafe. You have to learn to fall before you learn how to fly. ~Sue~ |

Lately, when I take a picture on my phone with the intention of posting it here, I email it to myself with the maximum offered size reduction, and that fits nicely here without necessitating sideways scrolling. http://youtu.be/abVnsPEU6FI Thank you. I'm going to redo it and delete the text on the green background. I don't know why I put it in there in the first place. Seems silly now. ~Sue~ |

NEVERMIND. I sent an email to webmaster@boincstats.com. Admin - you can delete this post. I'm trying to register with BOINCStats.com but I keep getting told that my "captcha" is wrong, and I don't see anywhere to ask for help. Anyone? Do you see a help link or a contact link? I see a bunch of you have registered, so it can't be too hard. ~Sue~ |
