Why hello wonderful community members! I'm new here, brought to this project by the powers that be. I am quite a cosmological enthusiast and thus find the greatest interest in this beautiful project. I wanted to introduce myself, with the hopes of starting my ventures here off on the right foot. So! Do we even do this sort of thing? Intros that is... I'm quite an avid fan of forums and the culture that comes along with it hence my deep understanding that every community is different!

Hi there, Nick. You can use whatever name you want. My username is my ham radio call sign, but my name is in my signature. I'm sure you've noticed by now that there are also fora for science (Seti and not) and a few other things. The Cafe is kind of a catch all for anything that doesn't fit anywhere else. Just try to keep it light. (The current threads about air/rail/bus safety are getting a little hot, but I hope we can keep from moving them to Politics.)

Off hand that I don't know, My Nephew comes close, He likes cats, but says He's allergic cause He thinks they make Him sneeze, I sneezed even before I had any cats, Grace is My latest kitty and that's Her as My avatar, She's about 13lbs and I think She still needs a cape(not that She'd wear one), She leaps 4' straight up from the counter top to the top of the Kitchen cabinets, She tried to do the same on the taller 125 gallon aquarium once and failed to do so, She hasn't tried to repeat that there.

IMHO all cats should just come with capes. It seems so.... Fitting! Grace looks pretty :] When I get a chance I'll have to show you my Jessie! She's antisocial to the max, but shes part of the family!

Grace lately wants to go next door cause She thinks there is a male cat next door, that's cause the last tenant there dumped the litterbox contents on the ground just before they moved out, supposedly the Army moved them somewhere else, though I think it was the last owners combination of bait and switch on the ad that brought them here, to refusing to fix the a/c system there, the last owner only fixed stuff that would get Him in major trouble, anything else He let slide cause the rents here are low to attract people since this park is out in the desert 12 miles from Barstow CA where rental prices can be higher(location, location, location as they say in the Real Estate biz) and the mobile home park is half empty cause of the last owner, good riddance to bad rubbish. He'd also raised rents causing half the park to leave.
