You will have to use BOINC Manager to detach from the SETI@home project on the computer in question, then re-attach to SETI using the same account as the other computer.

That did not work?? I have two computers under my name and they won't merge. The third is my hubby. Under Boinc manager advanced even log still has hubby's name?

How do i change his and merge the three pc's?? How do you hide or number computers??

Thanks.

Ok, I was under the impression that you had two BOINC accounts, but now I'm thinking you are referring to the actual computer name. This isn't controlled by BOINC but by whatever you (or the company you purchased your PC from) named the computer during setup.

Computers with like-components can be merged. All others cannot be.

Volunteer tester, Thanks

I do have three boinc accounts. Yes.

Each BOINC account is identified by a unique email address. If you indeed have three BOINC accounts, you need to make sure that the computer you attach to a particular BOINC account is using the correct email address.

Also, you said:

Under Boinc manager advanced even log still has hubby's name?

The Event Log shows you who's Windows User account is logged into Windows, not which BOINC account you're using.
