BOINC only uses the one and only GPU, it considers the best. If you want to use more GPUs, you'll have to to tell it the client! You have to create a file named "cc_config.xml" in the BOINCDATA-folder and inside you have to put the following code: <cc_config> <options> <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus> </options> </cc_config> This way BOINC uses all GPUs and runs one instance of GPU-app per GPU. Look here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Client_configuration [edit] This is the way i do it. I run on GT 640 (primary with monitor) and GT 430 (secondary without any monitor). Aloha, Uli |

I'm not 100% sure its working.. i have a 680gtx and a 550ti... i can still only see 1 instance of the gpu client running.. but i think its gotten faster. is there a way i can find out if it actually is using both gpus? thanks |

I'm not 100% sure its working.. Your rig is still showing the 680 as your only GPU. Did you follow the instructions Ulrich gave you? If so, did you stop, close, and then re-start BOINC after you created the file as mentioned? When working correctly, you'll see two GPU WU's running simultaneously. |

lovely... 550ti crunches on average 20 minutes..... 680gtx manages 10 minutes.. they both occasionally manage up to half that time |
