286

You still have a computer with a 286 in it??? Does it even run Windows?

196. Slowly, slowly, coming closer to zero tasks left....

Certainly has slowed down. My forecast of Sept 23 that I made in July was too optimistic.

I haven't had one for 3 weeks now. Can offer same-day service.

Last one I saw was June 9th.
Still have one validation inconclusive and one error hanging out there.

I've seen one in the last 2 weeks on one of my hosts, but I can't find it in the tasks list anywhere. They're really getting hard to come by now.

I'm waiting for them to be finished just so that I can delete an old PC.

Cheers.

I actually got one more yesterday.
Returned it in about 2-1/2 hours and validated.

Oh, congratulations. The chance of getting one of the last SETI@home Enhanced v6 WUs now, isn't high....

Go and buy a lottery ticket NOW.

LOL...Perhaps I should, at that.

Any notion what might be the Last Date?

Depending on time-outs and resends, it could be anywhere from 15 October to sometime next January or February.

Received the 30th, returned and validated today.

Okay, but WHY did it validate? It doesn't agree at all with the other one that shows as valid. Your counts are 6, 1, 0, 2, his are all 0.

The 5.12 science applications only report individual signal counts accrued since the last restart in stderr. Of course all the actual signal details are in the uploaded result file.

Looks like the wingmate restarted a ton of times, and I don't know how the count system for the stderr worked on the older app. Might just be there were no signals found on the last run to completion.. ? *shrug*

I have learned over the years that you can't rely on the stderr for accurate and precise information. It's a good indication quite often, but not perfect.

95 tasks in progress now.
9 users in last 24h.

At last, we're under 100 tasks in progress.

In progress as waiting for the machines which got them to report the results to the servers. If the machines are actually crunching them is another story.
