What??? There was an unscheduled outage yesterday and nobody posted about it in Panic Mode when we came back?

Curiously, there is no dip on the cricket graph corresponding to the time of the outage.

That's because the outage only affected the web pages, not the download + upload servers.

Is today's outrage over already, or hasn't it started yet?

It started way early for them as it was offline when I checked at 0700 PST/1500 UTC.

Must have been a quick/smooth one. The dip in the cricket graph only looks to be between an hour and a half and two hours.

Bravo!

And work to be validated is piling up and no new work is being split- ready-to-send buffer is rapidly shrinking.
Splitters show green, but nothing is coming out of them. MB Validators show green, but the validation backlog continues to grow.

I should have mentioned it sooner.
Validators appear to have started working again as well.

Maybe they found a way to maintenance database and systems without an outage. :-)

Well unless something happens in the next 90mins, I guess that my 660's will start hitting up 1 or 2 of my backup projects.

Cheers.

You just HAD to say that, didn't you???

I bet everyone was planning to be off today, too. I hope someone is dedicated enough to go in and kick the splitters. (As I recall, Eric went in on Thanksgiving last year to kick something.)

Cricket says there is work flowing now, SS Page shows a creation rate of 29+ but no tasks at 16:00, but my request just got another no tasks available. Maybe the next one will be a hit.

Edit: Got work on the second request.

I got some on one host, but most of them were shorties. Be a while before we build up a buffer of 'ready to sent' at that rate.

Which then immediately fell over again!! So I suspect he won't do that again in a hurry!!
