Whilst attempting to massage my top rig's CPU clock a bit, I did a boner and went a bridge waaaaaaaay too far.

It crashed badly, ditched my Seti attachement, and I had to reattach it to the project. So, in the process, it abandoned all work on hand.

Dang, I hate that when that happens.

Back up and running, restoring cache.

Sorry, the kittyman does not do a bang up like that too often, and even when I do, it's not often that a hard crash ditches all tasks on hand and Seti too.

And just when I thought my invalid and error totals were getting back down to acceptable limits, too.

Meowdangthebadluck.

Something similar happened to me when I added an app_info file on a Linux pc to move from stock to optimized. I forgot that the v7 tasks on Linux are version 7.01 and I only created an entry for 7.00.
Boinc then discarded the whole cache of 90 tasks but after fixing the app_info file I got them all back as "resend lost tasks".

I assume that if you fix the current Boinc installation and manage to keep the same ID, all lost task will be resent.

Not in my case, as the Boinc install was still OK, but it had lost all info on the Seti project, effectively detaching from it. So I had to reattach and start from scratch....

And yes, Sten-Arne, most of them were APs.

Meowsigh.

Kitties' loss == Swede's gain!

I think Sten-Arne was more concerned with the delay in getting them processed rather than trying to latch on to them himself.....

At least your rig is working and crunching away! I am sure I have more than a few angry wingmen out there....

Not that your GTX550Ti rig is getting much work to do now anyway, but when you installed Lunatics what CUDA version did you select?

Cheers.
