It must be summer because I start making dinner on a charcoal grill at 7PM and it's still light when I finish. ...further proof that it must be summer, I actually seek out positions where I'm sitting or standing within the plumes of smoke because it keeps the bugs away. |

Did you ever give a thought about what is the reason for the four different seasons that we are having each year? Without getting to much into the details of all of it here, this is something that should be known about when considering the things we are supposed to be doing each day. Wobble, wobble on its axis, the Earth spins around both ways around without you knowing or noticing anything at all. Summer is followed by autumn. Autumn is followed by Winter. Winter is followed by spring. Spring is followed by summer (oh, I did say so already). Any way, happy new year! And not forgetting the fact that we do have the Milky Way above us in the sky even in the summertime and the shortness of the summer which may be present each year will once more be replaced by the wintry spell which unfortunately is to cold for too many to deal with. This is a seemingly endless repeating story or pattern that hardly or never changes over time. Still things are supposed or expected to be happening as usual - they are not supposed to be looping in time as well. Even our sun has become middle aged by now. |
