Time to judge!
I was looking to see if people
would pick up on the idea that
there are lots of good reasons
why a person may carry an axe.
So in third place we have Chris
with: "After 3 days, Gilbert began to wonder what the problem was."
In second place we have Soft^Sprit with:
"Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm ........"
And the winner is KWSN THE Holy Hand Grenade!
with: "Hmm, this is how Clark Gable did it in It Happened One Night... why isn't it working for me?"

The reason it isn't working for this guy (aside from the axe...) is that it didn't work for Gable, either — it took Claudette Colbert showing some (OK, a lot of!) leg to stop a car in said picture...
