Hello,

a short time ago (few hours maybe) I started to experience errors I din't have before.
All of a sudden, I get "Your app_info.xml doesn't have a usable version of Seti@home v7" - I have installed the latest Lunatics optimized apps, already tried uninstall/reinstall and detach/reattach. The app_info.xml looks normal, it's the same as it was before (working fine ever since v7 was released).
At the same time I noticed all GPU WUs had errored out, with the error message "Can't link app version file".

Today, I installed a new GPU (GTX 660 in addition to the 680 I already had) and updated to the latest stable drivers, but I doubt it's related, as it worked fine for a few hours after that.

If you need more info, just state what you need.

Your help is very much appreciated.

Since you have recent work validated, recent work pending, and 101 tasks in queue, it looks like you were able to fix it.

If I am wrong, can you post your app_info file, please?

I don't really understand what's going on, I got this error once, but the subsequent requests succeeded. I didn't do a thing between these requests.

So for now it's working fine again, but I'm interested what could cause that behaviour? Shouldn't this error be persistent?

Maybe a double entry in your appinfo.xml.

In your last line its fetching either CPU and GPU.

Here's my app_info.xml file, generated by the Lunatics installer. I only changed the <count> values.

Just rerun the installer.
Sometimes some files get lost out of a sudden.

Hope this helps.

Yes, now, after a second uninstall/reinstall, everything seems to work fine again. Thank you.
