Can't take snapshot of task, but estimated computation size is:

1821052 GFLOPS !!!!!!

estimated time remaining is increasing as more time passes

BOINC says it's about 16% done

Anyone think this should be aborted?

The increase in the time estimate is quite common during the first third (or more) of the calculation of an Astopulse unit.

That looks to me to be "somewhat extreme".

Not knowing much about the ATI family of GPUs I'm not best placed to fully answer your questions. But I do know there have been a few questions asked in the "number crunching" section of the forum so it might be worth having a look there and seeing if there is anything of help to be found over there.

I would go ahead and pause that task and then unpause it, it is most likely stuck and will restart with a lot less hours elapsed.
