Have you upgraded to SETI version 7?

I only see 6 in your profile.

Look here:
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/prefs.php?subset=project

You probably only have:
SETI@home Enhanced: yes

If it's the case just set all applications to 'yes' and you will get new tasks:

SETI@home v7: yes
AstroPulse v6: yes
If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications? yes

Yes.
I also uninstalled, deleted all data files in library . Went to BOINC and downloaded latest version, connected with seti project, downloaded that. I still cannot get any work.

At about 22:00 you got some WUs. At about 22:08 they were marked as abandoned.

What happened?

Ok...
Try this.
Reboot or shut down Boinc and restart it.
Go to the projects tab and highlight Seti.
Hit the update button.

Then copy and post the Boinc messages here so we can have a look see.

I have already COMPLETELY deleted all BOINC and ALL associated data. I rebooted and downloaded all the newest versions and rebooted again. That coincides with the times the abandoned work appears, though no tasks were displayed within SETI as either active or not.

The Boinc messages log might help somebody figure out what is going on, if you can post it.

"Not sending work - last request too recent: 6 sec"

Wait ten minutes in between requesting updates.

You are hitting too many buttons at once....
You request work, suspend workfetch, resume workfetch, and request work again too soon. You can only request work about every 5 minutes.

Please restart again, hit the update button only once, and let it settle down for 10 minutes or so, then post the messages again please. Too many buttons drives Boinc bonkers....LOL.

Don't know what did it, but glad to hear it.

I will just mention a couple other things that I notice in your message log.

First, you have Boinc set to stop crunching if other programs on your computer are using 75% or more of the CPU. So, depending on what else you run, Seti work may stop at times.

The other thing is that you have a 2.5Gb limit on the disk space that Boinc is allowed to use to store Seti work....looks like you have lots of HD space, so you may want to increase that a bit.

Good luck, and hope it continues to run correctly for you.

Meow.

Okay, I will increase the that 2.5 GB limit. I dont uses the computer for anything else CPU intensive. Just a bit of web browsing and stuff like that.

I would think 5Gb should be plenty. Boinc can get tangled up if it runs out of disk space. If you ever want to check on it, the 'disk' tab in Boinc will give you a graph of your HD usage.
