I had to do a system restore on my laptop which deleted Seti@home and the Boinc Manager. Is there anything I can do to restart the projects that were cut off in the middle? also its showing I have two computers on my account even though its the same one. |

No, and yes. If the SETI folder has been lost then you will have lost them. But If the folder is still there you will be able to get them back First Check for the existence of the folder (normally to be found in "C:\ProgramData\BOINC\projects\setiathome.berkeley.edu" on newer versions of Windows). If its there then a simple re-installation of BOINC, then S@H will get you back up and running. If it isn't then :-( Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |
