SETIspirit shows my user ID as 0. As a result the Boinc Stats links and the account specific links to Seti@Home don't work. How do I get SETIspirit to pick up my user ID?

Also, my uptime stays at zero.

It found my user id ok.

What operating system?
Where did you install it?
What happens when you click on a link?
My guess is it can't find your web browser.
But if it can't find your user id, that might explain it.

your user id is 258837
I do not see user id in the .ini file
so he must be getting it elsewhere.

My guess is it can't find your web browser.
But if it can't find your user id, that might explain it.

a) Win 7 64-bit.
b) In it's default location.
c) The page opens but says Invalid user ID.

In debug.log I found a few instances of this :
6/23/2013 3:52:10 PM - modBOINC.GetWorkStatus(): Task C:\Program Files\BOINC\boinccmd.exe nach 5 Sekunden noch aktiv!!!

and lots and lots of these:

The errors are mostly due to a difference in date format between countries.
Once fixed that should correct the two missing stats totals.
I changed mine from German to English, seemed to make no difference.
But it may effect future error messages.
I am still at a loss for why it can't find your user id.
Mine is only four digits, your is longer.
Are you using the stock BOINC/SETI software?
Also in case you missed it the current SETIspirit is 1.05

Do the other project links work?
Most of them do not depend on user id.

How about the other tabs along the bottom?

Are you running as a limited user?

I can confirm now that the "project run time:" and "current uptime:" info may not work on systems with different date formats. I'm working for a solution for this issue, the next release of SETIspirit will fix this.

SETIspirit extracts the user id out of this file: client_state.xml (located in the boinc data directory). Could you please look for the <userid> tag in this file and report this value back? Thx.

Yes, we've gotten that far. My userid is correct for the project. However it is not the first userid tag in the file. An earlier project has a userid of zero. My guess is that he's picking up the first userid tag rather than looking for the proper project first. Of course that is just a guess.

I did. It now gets the right userid and all the links that depend on it work. The uptime seems to work now too.

However it lists my RAC as over 8 million. I've let Dirk know by email and I'm sure he'll track it down quickly. Thanks.

Is that other project still active?
Not sure how it is operating without a user id.
Maybe you could just remove it to fix your problem.
