I upgraded to Mandrake 10 kernel 2.6.3 from Mandrake 9.2 kernel 2.4.22 and boinc quit working reliably. I reset boinc and it quit working altogether. Deleted boinc directory and dl'd boinc client again, checked md5sum, gunzipped it in its own directory. When I run boinc client, after I enter the url and number, it starts cpu benchmarks test. Five minutes later I get "cpu benchmarks timed out, using default values". If I let it keep running it gives the same message every five minutes. Top says it is using about 85% processor time.
