Is there ever going to be an AP V7 App or will it remain 6.xx?
May be a dumb question...Just wondering.

AFAIK no plans to add new features to AP app. So it will become gradually faster but w/o big changes that require new version number.
From other side there is GBT data awaiting... So far only their application to MultiBEam type of processing was discussed, but if those data would be used for AstroPulse too it would require big enough changes to deserve new version number perhaps. But this under "event horizon" still.

AP V6 was only released 13 Mar 2012. So a newer release of AP this early is rather unlikely.

AP 5.05 was being run between 10 Jun 2009, and 13 Mar 2012.
MB 6.03 was being run between 21 Aug 2008, and 29 May 2013.
