I haven't had any new tasks uploaded so I thought I'd check my account settings. What I discovered were a ton of invalid results when checking my tasks. They are all since upgrading to SETI@home v7. HELP! Are others having this problem, or am I the only one? Can I downgrade back to an earlier version that worked just fine on my system? My system - HP DV6-6C40US, 64 bit AMD quad core, AMD Radeon graphics, 6Gb memory running Windows 7 Home Premium. Any advice or help would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Bob |

You're not the only one. See http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=71767 for example. You can tell Seti to only send Seti_Enhanced v6 in your project preferences, but since these aren't made anymore, they'll soon be only resends, and after that nonexistent. |

You have a Kepler GPU, which should be getting the cuda50 application, but instead gets the cuda42 app. You could try to force it, by using the Lunatics installer. Downside of that is that you then need to update apps manually when they're newly released, as the anonymous platform does not update these apps automatically. |

I have made the changes using the Lunatics installer and am back up running again. Thanks for the information. |

Thanks for the feedback, it was very helpful. I got a notice today about version 7 of SETI@home being released. Do you know if this will address my problem with errors processing certain data? Thanks again, Bob |

Driver version: CAL 1.4.1589 (VM) Version: OpenCL 1.1 AMD-APP-SDK-v2.5 (775.2) Incompatible driver. Do upgrade. BTW, stock should not be sent to such outdated hosts. If you run stock app report issue to Eric. SETI apps news We're not gonna fight them. We're gonna transcend them. |

You're not the only one. See http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=71767 for example. Since the release of SETI@home v7 v7.00, I have not had any more issues with errors. It was only the SETI@home v7 v7.03 files that I had problems with and had stopped trying to process. Thankfully the SETI@home v7 v7.00's I had run in the last few days have been error free. I can once again process all 4 file types. Thanks again Ageless for your help and advice. Bob |
