how can i merge the classic seti@home account with account on boinc?

My original e-mail (paulymh@yahoo.com.hk) can't receive the e-mail from boinc, so i use another e-mail (paulymh@cuhk.edu.hk) to open a new account.

can i merge the account?

If you don't have acces to the S@H Classic e-mail account, or it can't receive e-mail from BOINC system then it is no chance to merge it. I created new one, doesn't matter, now is new credit system so finished WU from S@H Classic are just for displaying ... IMHO nothing. What I'm missing is the date when I started to do a SETI@home.

The SETI@Home Account Creation Confirmation e-Mail As shown in the sample, a Seti@Home Account ID is a 32-byte random and unique identifier string that is the means that the user will use to establish their identity. There is no secret meaning within that number, it is simply a made up value that is different than all other randomly generated values that are used as an identifier for a user. This Seti@Home Account ID value can be cut and pasted so you do not have to try to enter it manually, as a matter of fact I recommend that; otherwise you will be there all day trying to get that darn thing entered correctly.
The Seti@Home Account ID is issued on request and delivered to the person that made the request through an e-mail to the participant's e-mail address (you did put in a valid e-mail address, didn't you?). One of the uses of the Seti@Home Account ID is to establish the identity of the user to the Seti@Home Project and for select projects (those that do not have a requirement for their own individual project specific Account ID) for access to that project's Servers. This Seti@Home Account ID (identity) needs to be sent to the server to established the validity of the user during each session connection to the BOINC Web Servers. Especially if the session is for the display and possible alteration of the Participant's Profile (or User's Profile) data. Access for creating messages on the Message Boards, and contacting the Data Servers for obtaining work may also require the Seti@Home Account ID.

Note:
Protect your Account IDs as they are the only way that you can access the account information. Lose this key value, and you will have to create a new account and all of the old accumulated credit will be lost.

Actally, you can have teh account autnehticator sent to the email address of record. Loosing it is not that big a problem. Having someone else be able to change your settings at will could be a serious problem.
