It doesn't matter what time of the year it is here my rigs just go flat out all the time and I have no troubles keeping them cool but then that is the way that I built them.


How did you achieve this, Wiggo?

1st you start off with a good case. My 2 rigs are currently residing in CoolerMaster 942 HAF-X cases. I have only fitted 1 extra 120mm in front of the GPU's to each case.

2nd is to use a good heatpipe CPU cooler (unless you want to go to liquid cooling). I use an old Thermaltake Big Typhoon on my old Q6600 and a CoolerMaster V8 on my 2500K with both running at their full speed.

3rd is that my GPU's have their fan speeds set above normal (no auto here), GTX 550Ti's 60% and GTX 660's 70% (these are about all I hear in my rigs).
