What should I set the r557 or r555 to ?

also what other enhanced programs should I install ?
win xp pro 32 bit sys.
I put the GT 430 in it also.

Hi Floyd i'm afraid I cant help with advice with AMD chips as I have not used them but I think you can use the 314.22 driver for the gtx 430

I'd use the 306.23 WHQL x64 Nvidia driver, if the OS is Windows 7 x64, I've had too many issues with downclocking, 306.23 is stable and does not downclock. Otherwise don't say I didn't warn y'all about this issue, cause I did, I'd use 306.23 for any Windows OS too.

I don't trust any other driver so far other than 306.23 WHQL, 314.07 or 314.22 are both downclockers and to get the gpu back to maximum speed one will either have to install a different driver with a clean install or reboot the PC.

In general, r557 is faster [phenoms may be an exception] IF you have the necessary SSE2 to run it - r555 only needs SSE.

edit: those are the CPU apps. The installer does not have an AP for NV app, you'll need to download that one separately from Lunatics.

BTW Next installer will only have r555 due to the deplorable licencing issues that forced us to pull the installer alltogether.
I'd like to restate at this point that the problem only is distribution due to conflicting licences not the actual running of the applications.

I think this has already been answered, but to reiterate, you want the 32bit cuda 4.2 version of x41zc. [looking at host, that's already running.]

Also for the MB CPU app you seem to be running fine, but I'm not entirely sure you're running the AMD version. With AMD processors it can be essential to take the app labeled 'AMD' to run error free. Since it appears to be fine though, I wouldn't bother to change it.

I assume the installer got you set up for Astropulse on CPU, but haven't seen anything said about the GPU app for AP. It is a manual addition to your app_info.xml file. If you want to add it, the app_info section is in an aistub file in the download package for copy/paste.

Speaking with authority, you can talk about anything including Lunatics. [provided you stick to the general posting rules of course]

What you shouldn't do is ditribute the Lunatics installer as it could get Lunatics in general and the authors of the installer in particular into big trouble with Intel.
