There was a Clyde Best, but I think you mean Bobby Moore who captained England and won the 1966 world cup. I traditionally support West Ham because it was the first ever 1st Division football match that I went to in the early 60's. Apart from which, at that time they were considered to be one of the gentlemanly teams that played clean football. yes Chris Booby Moore I knew I got his name wrong but that was 41 odd years ago and I was just a wee lad The old house we lived in is still there in Aintree Ave no 34 .The school I went to is 1 road over and that's still there too at least google Earth says it is I was told they built a motorway not that far away by some of my cousins. |

The M11 was opened in 1975. Dad came here to oz in 1972 when my cousins told me they said you wouldn't recognize the place . I'll have to spend some more time on Google Earth checking things out .How far away is the Olympic stadium from Upton Park? |

Ruddy hell that's long way away any idea what there gona do with Upton Park ? I hope it's still going to be where the main head quarters is .When I Finally am able to get my superannuation when i'm 59 I was thinking of coming back home for a holiday and was hoping I could see at least 1 football match there don't look like that's going to happen now |
