Still here - poking along on my MacBookPro, hoping someone will compile a version for the laptop GPU...

Wow, 14 years already? That sure went fast. What with Moores law and all that, I was sure we'd have found ET by now. Oh well, keep on crunchin'!

I just made it in - 14 years ago today. Not much production, but I've contributed consistently and continuously. I'm very slow but very faithful. I will continue to add my little bit.

14 years ago, it was Friday and I downloaded a screensaver.

It seemed harmless at the time.

Missed it again, 14 years and 14 million seems apt.

On to the next 14 years :-)

Happy 14th Anniversary to the many crunchers who have been at it for all these years.

See I almost missed it again. Still two months to go.

14 years... it seems like only yesterday.
No blazing GPU to crunch WUs but still cranking them out a little faster than the average turnaround time. So, I guess I'm making my small contribution to the grand totals.

Proud to have been crunching since 18th May 1999. I still find this is my favourite BOINC project despite trying a few others.

8 more days and I will reach the 14-years-club with my first account(16th of June 1999). I remember these days when I got user-ID 30428.
Some years later I had to create another account (thanks to my new boss) which I'm still using today (by some hazardous ?! condition it was 16th of June 2009).

Hard to believe it's been that long. Harder to believe I've stuck with anything that long :-) Hope I remember to check for the t-shirt next year. Congrats to us all!

And after 14 years SETI have decided to cut your RAC by up to 50% and thats why I'm bailing out on this BS.

Would you like some coagulated dairy product to go with that fermented grape drink?

Please read Eric's answer to that conspiracy theory in message 1378218: it starts

The fall in credit was most definitely not deliberate. I wouldn't even know how to cause such a thing using the BOINC credit new. I had assumed it was a case of "fast machines report results first" which usually drives the granted credit to low values when a new version is released, but there should have been ample time for that to fix itself.

Of course the corollary is that I haven't figured out how to fix it yet.
