my first post wiped my system and reinstalled window 7 and all updates. installed BIONIC after reboot, request another reboot asks for reboot when the manager app is launched |

funny, ran fine before I wiped the disk same OS same computer... |

Did you find the reason in the meantime? If not, it's an empty file whose name indicates its purpose. Just delete it; and check the access rights of the BOINC user, perhaps it hasn't sufficient rights to delete the file. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. It sometimes happens that the RebootPending.txt file in the BOINC Programs (C:\Program Files\BOINC\ or C:\program Files (x86)\BOINC\) directory gets stuck there. By the way, perhaps time to update to 7.0.64? It's the new recommended. |
