Hi All,

I've just signed up for some crunching and thought I'd say Hi. With the completing of the WCG HCC project, I'm looking for useful work for my GPUs. I'll be around from time to time and looking forward to making new friends.

Welcome to the project and the forums! Glad to hear that WCG has made some progress on that project - I haven't crunched WCG lately so I'm out of touch. You must have some questions so let us know if we can help. You're running a version of BOINC that supports multiple instances on that gpu without anonymous platform - you probaboly learned how to do that at WCG, but let us know if you need info.

Hi and thanks, Fred. Careful what you offer, I might just take you up on that.

Actually, I'm on a trek to find a Forum without Ageless already there.
But, since he is here, I vow to bug him until he hollers uncle (or aunt).

You see Fred, I've spent years solely with WCG. Actually, LoneWolf had me so focus with improving the PCHF Team's membership in the WCG world of Cancer Research, I never had the time to explore different Forums and Projects. Now that I'm free (praise the Lord, I'm free at last). No offense. My sense of humor tend to be very dry. I'm now exploring different Forums and Projects and trying to learning about this world of app_config.xml.

I'm currently experiencing exasperation with BOINC Stats and their apparent difficulty in recognizing a Team's member in one phase of their statistics and not in another phase. As you can see, I'm listed as an XtremeSystems Team member for Asteroids here... http://boincstats.com/en/stats/134/user/list/0/0/275/0, but not here... http://boincstats.com/signature/-1/user/2604222/sig.png. Why they can't cross reference their database, I do not know.

That's because you suffer from a "split CPID" (as I told you at the Einstein@home forum).

There are (at least) two Gandalf_the_Grey at BOINCstats, namely 2604222 (CPID 37df8b33c5577882180d0f10d06d71dd) and 2650773 (CPID 2b84d557ae5f0fdcf370ae1538925315, which is the one connected to Asteroids@home).

Gruß,
Gundolf

Well something got corrected. It's working now.
If it was something you said, then THANKS.

I thought you meant I had a split personality. I've had that for years.
*sh! Don't tell him that!*

You see it was the other ones fault. I read what you linked. Specifically,
Run at least one system with all projects, or one system with project A and B, and one system with project B and C. If there is a project that runs isolated from the other projects, its CPID with never line up.

I added each project onto one computer. Simple.
