The BOINC Beta Test site has been down almost a week now and I was wondering if it is going to be brought back up? I am one of those who was unlucky enough to be left with a load of WUs that need to be up loaded but am unable to do so. Should I disconnect from the project so that I can receive mor work or what?

Don't detach. You should be able to get work from S@H as it becomes available. Alpha and Beta will only be turned on when there is something to test. At that point, it would be appreciated if all who have been beta testers crunch with the new code.

I'm of the opinion that the beta setup has been somewhat cannibalized (whether hardware resources, or manpower) to get the S@H project on it's feet. I expect it back up when S@H calms down.

But as John said, don't detach. If you detach, you won't be able to re-attach until the project is back up. (tried it...)

Like I said: As the work becomes available. There is a severe shortage of WUs at the moment.

I had the same experience: not able to re-attach.

Greetings from Belgium.

You get them at BOINC.dk. But Janus is on holiday, so they won't be functional for a month. (as it says in my sig)
