I have some absolutely wonderful news for everyone here!

God created all Living things! With no exception!! Isn't that just wonderful! Its so beautiful when you think about it.

Here, read it yourself, read the word of God;
Book of Genesis; http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis+1&version=NIV

God created all the plants that grow from the Earth. Isn't that incredible!

It says that God created all the living creatures. It says God created the Birds that fly in the air and the Fish that swim in the sea.

And it says that God created us Human beings, in his own image, and in his own likeness, he created Human beings.

This is shocking news, but its wonderful good news. Love God with all your heart and you will see God with your own two eyes, right in front of you. God is all around us, if you just take the time to look.

Johnney.

guess I'll stop working since science is at the whim of a singlehandly deceptive God person. One can only wonder if anything in science is valid knowing what we now know

I will say without prejudice that Johnney is as dedicated to his beliefs as the JW's are, in that most of his posts sound like the Watchtower. I am just surprised that he hasn't looked at their doctrine.

I shall go out on a limb here, and state that I believe as Johnney does.

And to take that one step further, I also believe that if our sciences get advanced enough, some day they will drill down deep enough into our origins to prove that.

Mark Sattler,
God is smiling kindly down upon you tonight from Heaven. God will reward you Mark for defending his word on these forums. Mark I will be a witness to what you have said on these forums.

Very soon now, everyone will know. We are only a handful of years away from the great day of the Lord God almighty. The whole world will know who and what God really is, even the atheists, nobody will be excluded. Everyone will find out precisely what happened in the distant past. It will all become clear, and it will happen very very quickly. Those who put their trust in God will be rewarded.

So Johnney, I am forced to assume that as true believers, both msattler and yourself will be selling everything you own and giving it all to the foodbank.

That would be absolute proof that you truly believe the rapture is coming... but neither of you will dare to take that opportunity because in reality, the faith of "so called" believers is as shallow as piss on a plate.

I don't doubt for one moment Johnney's genuine faith in what he believes, but whether he feels he has to practically demonstrate that, is up to him. But as he knows, I respect his views, but I just don't happen to agree with most of them! We have common ground of previous ET visitations but that's about it. I would be interested in his opinion of the JW view of the Creation in this pamphlet from this site Was Life Created? particularly the Genesis account on P24, I found it "interesting" and tends to mirror a lot of what he thinks.

Oh and by the way, I'm not in the JW's and never will be, it's just that a member of my family is, and always tries to convert me, but to no avail :-) I keep an open mind, and am always willing to at least consider other points of view, before usually returning to my own.

Have you ever noticed........

I don't and never have, tried to 'convert' anybody.
I only express my true beliefs, and if anybody wishes to tag along at that point, I am most happy with that.

I know, without reservation, that the Lord above granted and gave me my life.
And I am not shy about stating so.

And, no, I don't consider myself to be the 13th disciple.
Although, it might be all well and good if there was one in this day and age.

I have not seen the series yet.
I have seen a few trailers. Seems that Kiefer is continuing on his wonderful acting career, following his wonderful father's path.
I don't have a television at home, have not for some 20 years or so.
The only time I have to watch the telly is when I visit my Lori love.

And there are only so many things I can catch up with then.

So, I may have to wait until this series comes out on DVD, and then shall relish it indeed.

Chris,
You asked me that question before, about if i agree with the Jehovah's Witnesses account of creation on that particular PDF document. I actually download that "Jehovah's Witnesses--Was Life Created" document and i have it saved on my computer. So i just read pages 24 through to 27 again.

Chris, the short answer is no. No, i don't agree with the Jehovah's Witnesses version they are suggesting in that document.

But!! There is a big But here!!.... To one degree or another, i do agree that the the Biblical account of the Book of Genesis is correct, if you interpret it properly. But, as the Bible tells you further on inside the book, only those with "Wisdom" will understand how to interpret the book and its message. In short, the Bible tells you NOT to take some of the stuff literally. The account of God creating the world in 6 days is NOT six "twenty four hour" days. The "6 days" are 6 periods of time.

Its possible that each of the days Genesis refers to are a thousand years long.
2 Peter 3:8
"With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day"
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+Peter+3&version=NIV

Chris, when i consider some of the things you have said to me in the last few months, i doubt you have the intellectual capacity to understand how the Bible works. Your a weak person Chris, i have lost respect for you and the things you say.

John.

It seems Johnney has said that God is/was an immortal ancient alien scientist. Am I remembering correctly? In this case, is this really a God at all?
What power would such a creature have now?
And does this merely push it further back. This creature is not a God, but there's something "further out there" in time and space that is Supreme?

Sarge,
Yes, to one degree or another, the ancient alien theory guys have more of the truth about human history than the mainstream science community have. There is more "truth" in the Ancient Aliens TV show than there is in the science books and the scientific journals. There are no "Alien Greys", just people, like you and me.

Its not to say that all the stuff claimed by the Ancient Alien theory guys is correct, because its not. But some of the stuff promoted by the Ancient Aliens TV show definitely is correct.

Yes, i believe that "God" is an immortal flesh and blood human scientist. I believe "God" is not an "Alien", he is just a flesh and blood person, who, along with his buddies, figured out how genetics worked, and they altered their chromosomes to make themselves immortal. They look just like you and me.

Chris, when i consider some of the things you have said to me in the last few months, i doubt you have the intellectual capacity to understand how the Bible works. Your a weak person Chris, i have lost respect for you and the things you say.

You are of course entitled to your opinion. You were making wild statements such as "I am researching this full time" which tended to give the impression that you were either at a College or a University, and had some scientific or physics qualifications. In fact you are an Industrial electrician with trade certificates, who spends all his spare time evenings and weekends pursuing his chosen hobby. I called you out on it and you disappeared in a huff.

I will repeat

I don't doubt for one moment Johnney's genuine faith in what he believes, but as he knows, I respect his views, but I just don't happen to agree with most of them! We have common ground of previous ET visitations but that's about it.

I did think that his views coincided with the JW's but it appears that I am wrong in that.

2 Peter 3:8
"With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day"

That could refer to stasis on long space voyages. In terms of genesis the periods could be millions of years. We just don't know it's as simple as that. But if you choose to proclaim your vision of the future and behave like a modern day Billy Graham evangelist, you must expect to get challenged.

It says that God created all the living creatures. It says God created the Birds that fly in the air and the Fish that swim in the sea.

Hey Johnney
Is there any mention of microbial life in the magic book of true history and all knowledge?
I think microbes deserve their own chapter as they are the dominant form of life on this planet.
Hell, as a biomass, they outweigh all other lifeforms combined in pure tonnage.
