This weekend just gone I bought some more hardware to finish upgrading my system Quaddy chip more ram which means I will have to get a ligit copy of win7 64 bit as I have herd that the 64 bit hasn't or can't be cracked and my system will have 5 gig of ram (gpu 1gig)+4 gig of normal ram . I don't mind paying $100 but not $300 for it so thank's wiggo Microsoft keeps redirecting me back to the ozzie site and they can go to hell for the price they won't me to pay there

Checking out the prices on that site Wiggo linked, they are practically on par with what they cost here.

It's just been pointed out that the prices Wiggo & I have been quoting are for OEM disks whereas the prices Glenn has quoted are for Upgrade & Retail disks.

Glenn, check out the OEM prices there's a huge difference between the 2.

I havn't bought upgrade or full retail disks since way back to Win98. I can't see the sense in them when you can buy some hardware and get an OEM disk at a much more reasonable price.

Cheers.

I installed this sh)*&^$^t and I wished I hadn't. After I recycled the machine, I immediately ran into problems. When Windows started loading it immediately went into disk consistency, which I canceled so that windows could continue loading. I deleted/un-installed the update, but it did not remove the disk consistency warning upon a recycle. It would not even let me do a system restore to a point before the install. The machine has shut down on its own approx. 4 times since then with no warning. I might have to reimage the system all over again. I just did this last Wednesday when I installed the new SSD.

Just a heads up...
Win 7 update tried to push another nVidia driver update to me again today for my GTX580s. I hid it.
