I have two non-validated workunits that have been validated when you look into workunit link. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=1162369177 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=1045860895 Can something be done with this? Will I get any credits? Can it be cleaned up from database? (credits are not THAT important). Regards, |

I have two non-validated workunits that have been validated when you look into workunit link. Made the links active, you can do that by highlighting each link in turn and pressing the URL Box. Claggy |

I have one in progress that will probably do that, too. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=1188759077 #2 missed the deadline, I got the reissue, then #2 reported late & it validated. Mine should finish some timne today (Friday 12 April). Seems to me this has been a long-time problem with Astropulse validation. Maybe now they will have time to fix it. I've got one from last June that's "stuck". So you could be in for a wait :) That said they will get validated eventually and (if I'm not mistaken) someone from the lab has to do it manually. Member of the People Encouraging Niceness In Society club. |

Every now and then a work unit gets stuck. Someone has to go in manually and free it up, and with all the server problems of late that someone has been nobody. Once things have settled down, and all the planned server moves completed we will see Someone in action clearing the stuck WU. I've got one from last June that's "stuck". So you could be in for a wait :) Oh I still have 631642246 from 2010 that hasn't cleared. Maybe once we switch over to v7 apps they will clear out the old ones like when they switched over the v6 for AP. I have a same sort of thing. In my tasklist..(resultslist..) (on the webpage) a allready validated (and removed WU) is showing up again. My system reported the WU as done 1st of aug. 2012. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=2539448459 What's wrong ? |

I have a same sort of thing. Made the link active. Looks like your initial wingman missed the deadline, and it was reissued, then the late man reported. Even though it validated, with another task outstanding that workunit should NOT have dropped off your task list. My best guess is it disappeared due to corruption of the database, and just now reappeared. Maybe Eric will run his magic fixer soon and validate the 3rd task so it can rest in peace.
