Ok, I have a used Zotac Infinity Edition GTX 580 card doing Seti, if anyone is curious, it's mounted in a CM HAF-932 full tower case and it's using a Delta AFB1212SH 113.11cfm 120x25mm fan(3400rpm @ 46.5 dBa, it's tolerable, noisier than the stock fan, but it seems to work), I'd wanted to put the Corsair H70 radiator and the Zotac Radiator next to each other, sad to say that isn't possible, I did try.

1st of 3 Infinity Edition cards in final position. You may now Drool away...

Infinity Edition in secondary position with GTX590 as substitute for a 2nd Zotac 580 card for fitting purposes, it fits.

Currently I'm running 2 wu's @ 815MHz(stock speed of the Infinity), I'd tried 3 and 4 wu's they do work, but 2 seems the best as to temp(about 78C so far) and speed of about 10 minutes. Oh and to mount a 3rd 580 of this type I'll have to upgrade the psu to a shorter 1200w psu, the current psu is a 1500w psu of 220mm, the 1200w version is 180mm long.

The shorter psu is also gold rated and $255.82, currently that is and this case does pretty well, the case wasn't designed for two 120mm radiators in the top, most aren't, so I'm lucky the 3rd position is there. Oh and I like full towers, there is the NZXT 630 Phantom case for $179.99 and this the top inside the case. I have an old Corsair 850w that has a single 12v rail, but it doesn't have the amperage to run this PC and doing minor work on this PC is difficult enough, moving parts between cases took Me 4.5 hours last time I did this. In any case I do see your point, it's just easier on Me to keep what I have and the 1500w psu is an ST1500 Silverstone with four 25A 12v rails vs a ST1200-G with one 100A 12v rail, now I still could go to a new case later, if I felt like it, but then I'd tossing a good Cooler Master HAF-932 case that has been slightly modified in the back. Edit: I also will be running a 650w Tt video card psu in a drive bay, that takes two bays and I only see 4 5.25" drive bays and I'd need 5 minimum, the HAF-932 has 6 bays.

Bottom front inside NZXT 630.

Oh and My time has come down on 3 wu's, from about 17mins to about 14mins and the temps is cooler too, all cause of that fan switch, of course I dislodged a usb cable at the top front and two ports on the front of the case are out as a result, I'll see about fixing that on Friday, maybe.

The 1500w ST1500(220mm) being Silver rated and such weighs more than a 1200w(180mm) ST1200-G which is Gold rated, Gold rated psus run cooler and more efficiently than Silver or below and the 1500w psu is the heaviest psu that I've ever owned too.

@ Lionel: I'll think about it, since that would also solve a another issue, though it would cost more and take another month, a 1600w Rosewill Hercules psu, to replace the 1500w and the 650w psus(the 650w takes up 2 drive bays), as it's perfect and not cheap, but it's not out of the realm of what I can do today thanks to cut backs and being frugal, it's not like I suffer, I'm just doing what My Uncle once said with a twist, "budget smarter", He said "work smarter, not harder".

The reason I mentioned it was that I have swapped all my cases out for NZXT Switch 810s (white). A lot more room and easier to work in. :)

Well it still is a good idea and it does fit into My plans, plus the add on filters here are good, but really restrictive. And it would solve a few household supply problems here while I'm at it. Oh and that Rosewill is about 241mm long, makes My 1500w psu a bit smaller at 220mm, I was going to get one for the other PC, so a second won't hurt, the 1600e requires a 20A 115vac circuit for the full 1600w from what I've read and I have two of those circuits already, I just need them moved a bit.

Thanks, of course this is only the beginning, I have two Zotac Omni upgrade kits that are waiting for a GTX 580 each, though they'll work with any nvidia reference design 480, 570 or 580, I just like the 580, this 580 is an Infinity Edition or a version one 580 AMP card. Of course I had to equip the cards radiator with a 113.11cfm 120mm fan to increase the cooling capability, but then I had the fan in a box already.

Without the filter the gpu here runs around 68-72C, while crunching at night, not bad for a 580, otherwise it's around 30-35C, of course I'm still not sure what case will house all this stuff, an NZXT Phantom 630 is good and then there's the Corsair 900D, which looks like it could swallow a 630 whole almost. Of course the 900D is 692mm tall(almost 27.25"), which would fit right where the HAF-932 is at now, with a 1/2" to spare, but would not fit on the lower without the middle 2 desk shelves being moved up by one spot each, not impossible, just difficult. And the 900D in the US is around $336-350, whereas the 630 is a more modest $180 or so.

I'm not sure which case to get to replace the aging 932, the 630 or the 900D(the 900D dwarfs a few cases), size: 25.6" x 9.9" x 27.2" or 649.6mm(D) x 252mm(W) x 691.6mm(H).

On the 900D I could buy two Silverstone ST1200-G 1200w psus, on the 630 I'd need to buy a Rosewill Hercules 1600w psu that requires a 20A circuit to operate at 1600w, which in My house would require an electrician to move the two 20A circuits that I have closer to the desk. The 3 Zotac Infinity 580 cards and the cpu need either the 1600w psu or a 1200w and a 450w psu as I've read they use about 29.42A each @ 12v.

The 900D can have 3-120x360 Radiators, plus a 120x480 and a 140x140 radiator, the 630 I'd be able to stuff 3-140x280 radiators in the top, bottom & the front.

Of course I'm thinking of the future beyond the current specs of a Corsair H70 and 3 Zotac Infinity Edition GTX580 cards and of course of My other PC that is going the custom water cooled route.

You are clearly a serious cruncher. I'm surprised you would buy anything with the Rosewill name. I have had nothing but trouble with them in the long run. Personally, I will not buy any PSUs other than Seasonic. All PSUs fail eventually, but I have not reached "eventually" with any Seasonic, gold or platinum.

I really stressed a 750W gold and 1000W platinum some time ago with SETI. Well over 100,000 RAC. I am just ramping back up with SETI. I expect the Seasonics will have no problem.

The choice of psu is right now up in the air as is the case, I'm currently using a Silverstone ST1500 1500w psu, a bit overkill for two liquid cooled 580 cards and not enough for three of those cards unfortunately. If I stay with Silverstone I'd get a ST1200-G(a gold level psu), the 3rd card can be powered by a FSP Booster X5 450w video card psu. So far I've not bought any psu or case, the 900D case starts at $326.28 and can go up depending on where their available at and is out of stock for the moment, the NZXT 630 is less expensive at about $177.00.

I think I'll get the NZXT 630 for this PC plus the 1200w and the 450w psus, the other PC will get the 900D when it's available.

The 630 only has room for a 360 in the top, these two 120mm radiators won't fit side by side as I've tried that, so I looked at a 3rd case choice, a Corsair 800D, the 3rd 580 radiator would have to fit on the internal shelf or the shelf would need modding to allow the tubing to pass through to the bottom of the case. Problems, problems. Too many reviews, the 630 can do a 360 radiator, not everyone mentions that, so the 630 I'll still get cause it's more open.

I don't think Rosewill or Coolmax or Highpower(Rock Solid Pro) is making this 1600w psu, someone else most likely is, but all three are putting out or soon will be putting out these 240mm monsters, these have a 50A 12v rail and a 110A 12v rail... And the Coolmax has a price under $300.00...

If only you got the HAF-942-X instead of the HAF-932 Vic, I think that you would have been happier.

I already have one, it also suffers from no filters, beyond that it's a good case, the current HAF-932 will be replaced by the NZXT 630 as it's a bit bigger and has better filters that are built in, I had to add the filters to the 932 and their really restrictive. I think that 6.10.58 runs cooler, I'm not sure if that's cause of doing no cpu work or cause of any differences between Boinc 6.10.58 and 7.0.28.

Personally I got over filters real quick here as living in a hot dusty country having to clean them every other day or so was very annoying.

A blow out every 3-4mths suits me just fine these days.

Dust is a problem here since there is a dry lake nearby, as is cat hair and I've got a long hair and Grace is a shedder.

Well I got back online finally, after being delayed by a stripped screw hole on the cpu radiator and almost forgetting to install the wiring for cpu pump/fans, plus I had to take an unneeded 3 wire extension cable out and I did some cleaning, dust piling up and I still need to vacuum the floor, I'm exhausted...

The 580 Temps are still about 72-73C while crunching, 35C when not, at least while I don't have the swamp cooler on more than just the vent setting, on cool the temp will drop, both in here and in the PC. I had to struggle to close the side of the PC case with the 4 fans, as one of the fans on the panel and the H70 Radiator want to be in the same spot, good thing the fan has a fan guard on it.

The pic below shows the radiators that are installed & a fan by itself on the right, only the cpu can be in push/pull, the gpu radiator has the pump in the way and so mounting a second fan appears to be impossible.

I think My next step is at some point to get 3 Delta 120x38mm 151.85cfm(Out of stock) 3200rpm @ 53.0dBa fans each(sidewinder), there goes about $56.36 total on Amazon, I'm at 113.11cfm now just to get 72-73C with the swamp cooler water pump off, with the pump on the 580 temp is 65C, though at night I've seen 58C with the pump off.
