We are NOT the greatest country in the world anymore.........

Once Britain had an Empire and a significant one, half the world map was coloured pink. Then laterwe has a fairly successful Commonwealth. These days we just watch our legacy go down the plughole. Such is life.

I think all that have a history of greatness have witnessed it go downhill as of late. Once you reach the apex, there is nowhere to go but down.

Of course it really depends on how you define "greatest" and who is doing the defining.

I suspect a lot of countries in Europe, the middle east and definitely the far east never for one moment considered the USA the "Greatest country in the world"
