http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/GPU_computing plus (albeit old) BOINC FAQ on CUDA/CAL crunching and BOINC FAQ on OpenCL crunching.

In short, the Seti project is capable of doing work on your AMD GPU, but it can only do so from a specific driver version. You can get the correct driver from AMD's driver download site.
