Over 150 rounds fired in less than 5 min. That's a lot of fire power from one guy.

I figure that if someone needs 30 round mags to defend their house, they are as likely to hit something they really don't want to....

What sort of country do you live in??? I didn't realise I was taking my life into my own hands everytime I crossed the border.

If its that bad you should consider moving to Brixton, one of the roughest parts of the UK where I lived for nearly 20 years. Never needed a gun to protect myself though. If where you live is so bad, you should move there. Its clearly safer.

Don't worry Es, we wouldn't let him in the country. The UK Border Agency might be pretty incompetent, but even they would refuse entry to known psychotics.

Sadly that is true, which is why the BA has been declared not fit for purpose and is being scrapped.

I'm sure it is. Here for many jail is safer and a better environment. Hard to enforce the law when that is the case.

@James - I know mate and I didn't take it as that. It was fair comment.

@Gary -

Over here we have the same situation but mainly for economic reasons, not physical safety. If you're a society dropout with a criminal record, no education, and no chance of getting a job, then its a lot easier to trangress yet again, and get a free roof over your head with 3 meals a day. It's a way of life for too many, and we are paying our taxes to support it.

Not fit for purpose, I suspect it did exactly what the then Government wished
it to do, when formed, and that was to let the maximum amount of migrants in,
via the back door, to feed a market hungry for cheap labour.

150 rounds in 5 minutes is nothing. Consider a semiautomatic weapon as was used can fire as fast as you can pull the trigger. I assume he wasn't just pulling the trigger at random and made some attempt to aim. That being said a 30 round clip could be fired off in about 5-10 seconds. reloading takes 5-10 seconds without much practice. So he could have done a whole lot more damage in the same amount of time had he just let loose and fired freely. Not saying he should have but he could have.

An expert with speed loader just might have been able to do it with a six shooter.

I would ask you this. If you had to defend your home and family would you like an empty magazine or a full one? Id like a full one. Not a damn 5 round one not a damn 10 round one, I want a 30 round one with back ups just in case.

Even cops who are well trained miss the guy whos shooting at them. And not all hits are man stoppers.

Its not the law abiding you should fear its the crimimal or whackjob who could care less about laws, But the do gooders wont send to prison or mental health facillity.

Jim since it has been many years since I qualified as a marksman, and I have no interest in wasting the time to get current. If I were in that situation my preferred device would be a shotgun.

Would you like a single shot or a 8 shot pump?

For defense I think a pump would be better, but an over and under has better balance.

God forbid your wife might have to defend herself whilst you are gone....
You seem to have forgotten the video response to Joe Biden's advice that the ladies get a shotgun instead of an AR-15.

If it came down to it, I know damn well which I would rather Lori had in her closet for self defense.
