I've got access to an old Thinkpad SL500 laptop with a 9300M GS GPU. I can fix it up with a Win7 HP pretty fast but will it run SETI on the GPU at all? I know it definitely won't break any speed records but wll it run? |

As long as BOINC will detect it, and there's sufficient memory on it it will. |

I was kinda asking if anyone had any experiences with the mentioned GPU. What you said is nothing more than I already knew. :-) |

Take a look through the "number crunchers" forum, you may find some that have used your GPU already. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

I got it up and running now, the first driver didn't allow any GPU WUs but an update and a empting off the cache solved that issue so now it's crunching along! So far it's 9 hours to the WU :-O |
