My mother is a handful. My mother-in-law is all sweetness and light - plus she makes the best darn wild blueberry pie you can imagine.

She even picks the blueberries herself, despite the fact that she often has to contend with one or two of these when she goes blueberry picking...

The pie & ice cream looks very good Angela, the bear, well I hope your mother-in-law carries mace and/or gives the bear a wide berth.

Thinking of making some English Trifle this weekend. Got a very good recipe of my mother in law a few years ago. Darn, I miss her cooking...

How often do those two fit together in one phrase?

Lol:)))))

Well, I said I missed her cooking! ;)

I miss My Moms cooking too, but she was a good teacher, She taught Me how to cook, so whatever I cook, it's at least as good as She did, unlike My Brother who had to learn on His own how to cook, though He was pretty good, Me I just prefer to not cook anything hard these days, since the budget is tight, though after about August 2016, I predict My budget will not be so tight, of course if I had an extra $265.00 a month like is being talked about elsewhere(see My facebook link for more info on that), it wouldn't be so tight, but I digress...

It's a quiche.

Yes, it is. I have a cookbook full of similar recipes, but they're called Bisquik Incredible Pies.

Okay, but one of the keyword tags on the page is "quiche".

Maybe they didn't want to call it a quiche because they didn't want real men to refuse to eat it.

I was at the store today and did not buy these to put on top of the pie I also didn't buy.

They sound good, though.

The bottom one looks like it might be Rocky Road at Stater Bros Market, but right now I need every penny to pay My DMV, smog the car and get a used drivers seat for My car, as the mounting on the left front of the seat broke today, I can drive, I just have to hold on to the wheel when accelerating. This ice cream is My favorite, but due to My reduced budget I can't go and buy it until the 30th...
